Duration to Pushing Upward

Duration 32 addresses the topic of lasting marriage and how relationships can endure despite everyday turmoil.  Duration is formed by Sun, Wind, eldest daughter, and Chen, Thunder, eldest son.  Here the fourth line changes - it indicates that we have the power to bring duration to our affairs but have the wrong attitude.  It is a little like deciding to go to visit a friend and heading in the wrong direction.  No matter how fast or long you drive you can't get there heading in that direction.  It is also like a movie with a poor script -- the attention lavished on production, casting or other areas cannot correct that defect -- click for a link to Land of the Lost.  

The result is Pushing Upward which is composed of Sun, Trees and Wind, under Kun, the Earth. The image of wood pushing upward through the ground is indicated, a time when what is willed is done.
