Avoid the Fate of the Presidential Fly: Keep Down Low

Preponderance of the Small 62 was received in the recent past.  It has the image of thunder on the mountain.  Its main message is to be conscientious in small things: don't spend money, live humbly, shun arrogance and pretension. It looks like the trigram K'an, Water, Danger and the Abyss, with each line doubled: two yin lines, two yang lines and then two yin lines.  It indicates a transition.  The image suggests a bird and most of the lines refer to birds. This hexagram says the main danger is from flying too high, becoming arrogant, and losing touch with the earth. It recommends keeping in your place or devotion as opposed to rebellion or 'flying high.'

Here the sixth line changes.  As you might suspect, the top line has flown too high, and due to arrogance lost its connection to earth.  Since the I Ching is intended to guide us it is hoped we can turn back in time to avoid misfortune and injury.  It could also mean the time for turning back has passed. Or maybe the president will swat us down like a fly.

The resulting hexagram is The Wanderer, Fire on the Mountain.  It could mean that as a result of flying too high we lose our home or place. Or more hopefully we will take a journey this summer.
